    *For servo motors operated in a vacuum pressure range of 10-10000 Pa, we recommend utilizing a low-voltage (24 or  48 VDC) winding motor to eliminate the risk of breakdown.

    To achieve accurate positioning, it is necessary to implement a homing      process , as the motor position is not recorded during power-off.

    With 17-bit single-turn resolution and 12-bit multi-turn. During power-off, the motor position is recorded. No back-up battery is required.

    Description

    In actuator systems of missiles, drones, and various aerospace vehicles, the motor often needs to drive the control surface for rapid and precise deflection under high-altitude low-temperature environments, placing extremely high demands on the motor's low-temperature adaptability. The KECM series low temperature servo motor is specifically optimized for such extreme low-temperature conditions, with an operating temperature as low as -60℃. At this temperature, it maintains low viscosity and fluidity of the lubricating grease as well as high magnetic energy product of magnetic materials, ensuring rapid response of the actuator in frigid environments. Unlike general-purpose products, this low temperature servo motor features specially treated windings and insulation systems to prevent low-temperature embrittlement. It can also be optionally equipped with a mechanical multi-turn absolute encoder, providing absolute position feedback to the actuator control system and preventing loss of zero position during power loss or power-up sequences — a key safeguard for missile pre-launch self-checks. Within the actuator mechanism, the KECM series low temperature servo motor can also integrate an electromagnetic brake, used to lock the control surface in non-operating states, preventing unintended deflections caused by aerodynamic forces. Due to the confined space and weight constraints of actuators, this low temperature servo motor adopts a high torque density design, delivering greater torque within the same volume, which perfectly aligns with aerospace requirements for miniaturization. From ground-based low-temperature laboratories to real flight environments at high altitudes, the KECM series low temperature servo motor operates stably, and its low-temperature resistance, vibration resistance, and high reliability have been verified by multiple military institutions. Adopting this low temperature servo motor for actuator control can significantly enhance the survivability of flight vehicles in cold-region operations or polar missions. The emergence of this low temperature servo motor fills multiple technical gaps in domestic high-end actuator motors for harsh environments, further consolidating the leading position of the KECM series low temperature servo motor in the fields of guided weapon and UAV actuator control.
